Creating
I create original digital artworks that pulse with color, movement, and layered visual energy. My work draws inspiration from the textures and rhythm of urban life — expressive mark-making, luminous saturation, and dynamic composition — juxtaposed with organic forms such as flowers, foliage, and animal motifs. These elements weave through each piece like nature reclaiming space within the contemporary landscape. Whether presented as premium digital releases or transformed into hand-finished mixed-media canvases, each work is designed to immerse, provoke, and resonate.
Thinking
I aspire to paint concepts. The concept of partnership — how two or more forces evolve together, shaping and strengthening one another while maintaining distinct identity and clearly defined boundaries. The concept of hacking the ecstatic — mending fractured spaces within the self and extending moments of bliss into places once marked by rupture, allowing renewal, integration, and restoration. The concept of rediscovery — reconnecting with our deepest values and cultivating the perseverance required to reinforce them. These ideas form the philosophical architecture beneath the visual surface of my work.
Writing
Through both art and writing, I seek to invite reflection and inspire reconnection with the values that ground us — empathy, resilience, integrity, and purpose. I believe that by consciously nurturing these inner foundations, both individually and collectively, we contribute to shaping a world that is more compassionate, respectful, and deeply aware. Writing is where I give language to the ideas my visual work begins to explore.
The setup is nuanced, so let me break it down for you:
Original Digital Artwork: the Procreate-created source piece
Hand-Finished Mixed-Media Canvas: the textured physical original
Fine Art Print Edition: the print from the untouched digital master
Creating
Welcome to Natalie Ola Studio
Where botanical opulence meets urban edge.
Created from my home studio overlooking vast waters and the shifting poetry of starling murmurations, my work explores contrast — softness and rebellion, instinct and intention, nature and raw contemporary energy.
Every piece is hand-created digitally in Procreate through an intuitive, painterly process of layered textures, expressive mark-making, and bold visual experimentation. Inspired by tropical abundance, street culture, and the emotional power of color, these works are designed to transform interiors into immersive, conversation-starting spaces.
Each collection is available as a premium digital release through my Etsy Studio — high-resolution collector-grade artwork created for statement-scale printing and designed for those who believe walls should vibrate with life.

Mixed-Media Canvas Collections
Where digital vision evolves into tactile form.
Each collection begins as an original artwork hand-painted digitally in Procreate, where layered color, movement, and luminous detail are developed through an intuitive painterly process.
From this original digital composition, the work follows two distinct collector paths.
Selected pieces are professionally produced on canvas and hand-finished by the artist with sculptural impasto detailing, transforming the digital original into a tactile mixed-media canvas with dimensional presence.
The same original digital master is also available as archival-quality fine art prints through Saatchi Art, preserving the composition in its purest form — crisp, luminous, and free from physical surface intervention.
Together, these formats offer two interpretations of the same artistic vision:
one celebrating material texture and hand-built dimension,
the other honoring the precision and atmospheric clarity of the original digital painting.
Available as hand-finished mixed-media canvas originals or as fine art prints produced directly from the original digital artwork.

Thinking
Psychology
“A mindset is your psychology. We can set our mind yet, first, we need to know what we set towards— a certain psychological state. What does it feel like when I am in that state?”
Self-Transcendence
“Those of us who are more self-forgetful have an easier time getting lost in the moment, being absorbed in art and music and sport, in achieving Csikszentmihalyi's flow state.”
Flow
“Calendar chokepoints are seemingly minor obligations—meetings or appointments—that fragment your day and leave you with insufficient time to get into flow.”
Writing
Self-Leadership
“Yet after the sessions of ecstasis, aka the altered state of consciousness and flow experienced from working long hours with uninterrupted attention and focus, there comes the pull.”
Neuroscience
“Because when you are grateful it sets off the brain’s bs detector. You are not grateful for imaginary things that might happen in the future; you are grateful for stuff that has already happened. It’s real; we know it’s real.”
Ecstasis & Longevity
“There’s an ecstatic spectrum: flow states, states of awe, meditative states, contemplative states, psychedelic states, technologically mediated states—they do similar things to our brain...”
